A new room is being created to house this unit adjacent to the hygienist's treatment room. The unit has it's own computer and screen to view the images as soon as they are taken and these images can be viewed on any of the practice's computer network.

For The "Health and Safety"-minded amongst you, the partition wall has been lead lined,in accordance with the regulations governing the use of this x-ray equipment.

As a rule, OPG images would be taken at 3-5 yearly intervals, if indicated.

Oral B "Brush-ups"

Oral B " Brush-ups"

are a brand new Oral B product. Use them for a quick dental freshen up during the day or while you are on the move. It's a new take on the boy scout's quickie tooth cleaning with paste and a finger tip. With Oral B "Brush-ups" there is
no toothpaste/mess but a specially textured tooth-wipe which you place over your finger. They are said to remove plaque and they have a nice mild mint flavour.
They will be available at your next visit to us and no doubt will be in the shops very soon.
Click here to see them in action
They are an extra not an alternative to your normal careful Oral hygiene, but they are very handy !
